We're a small scale, ecological farm,
focused on growing seasonal vegetables & flowers,
and making delicious fermented food
in Nova Scotia's Annapolis Valley
Ecological Farming
Our goal is to grow food and flowers while encouraging and protecting rich, biodiverse ecosystems on our farm.
We are intentional with our land management practices, ensuring that what we do prioritizes care for the creatures, soil and water that we share this space with.
In addition to no-spray crop management, the use of cover crops, and crop rotation, this includes leaving parts of our farm and forest undisturbed, as well as planting hedgerows and perennials that support animals, birds and insects throughout the seasons.
Being able to do this while growing healthy food and beautiful flowers is why we love what we do!
Cut Flowers
We grow a variety of cut flowers on the farm, and have fresh bouquets available from May - October, with our most abundant variety available July - early September.
Fresh flowers are available daily during flower season in our roadside farm stand, and at our booth at the Saturday Wolfville Farmers Market.
Ferments
We also make a variety of seasonal fermented vegetables that include sauerkrauts, kimchi and pickles.
Created with almost entirely local ingredients, and fermented traditionally with sea salt, our ferments are non-pasteurized, living foods that are a great (and delicious!) way to incorporate healthy bacteria into your diet.
We are thrilled to be working with independent retailers in Nova Scotia to be able to offer our ferments in various locations. See our map of retailers here.
